U-Grower (work in progress)

Since a few years an ecological movement has started, the urban exodus where people leave cities to return to a autonomous way of life.
Others decide to stay because the landscape of cities are all what they’ve always known and lived within. Among them, some inhabitants also believe that nature can reinvest and transform the urban life. They intend to use the available surfaces as fields to cultivate food and bring biodiversity. These people who live and bring a transition, I call them U-growers.
This collection explore the transition between two ways of life. The garments are designed as farmers tools for the U-growers but still refer to urban life with slender and straight shapes and a flowing drape.
